The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates for various positions in the Corporate Governance Unit (CGU), Risk Management Unit (RMU), and Internal Support Unit (ISU) of the Finance Department. Positions are on a contract basis initially for one year under Market Based Salary (MBS) Scales.

Available Positions
1. Performance & Monitoring Specialist (CGU) – MBS-II
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Public Financial Management/Accounting/Finance (Pakistan or international).
  • Expertise: Preference for experience in corporate governance, policy/strategy-related issues.
  • Achievement Record: Demonstrable, verifiable track record with leadership in teams.
  • Education: Minimum 16 years in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.
    • Recognized qualifications: ACCA (UK), CA (ICAP), or equivalent.
    • Preference for those with Director’s Training Program, Public Financial Management certification, or additional relevant qualifications.
  • Sector Experience: Public, private, development sectors, or a combination.

2. Senior Financial Analyst – Risk Management (RMU) – MBS-II
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in Public Financial Management, including risk management, forecasting, modeling.
  • Achievement Record: Track record of leading high-performing teams.
  • Education: Minimum 16 years in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.
    • Recognized qualifications: ACCA (UK), CA (ICAP), CFA, PMP, CP3P, FRM.
  • Preference: Experience with Public Private Partnerships and infrastructure projects.
  • Sector Experience: Public, private, development sectors, or a combination.

3. Associate (ISU) – MBS-II
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of top-tier experience (Pakistan/international).
  • Achievement Record: Strong leadership and performance record.
  • Education: Minimum 16 years; preference for graduates from top-tier universities.
  • Sector Experience: Public, private, development sectors, or a combination.

4. Analyst (ISU) – MBS-III
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Achievement Record: Verifiable performance track.
  • Education: Minimum 16 years; preference for top-tier university graduates.
  • Sector Experience: Public, private, development sectors, or a combination.

5. Analyst (ISU) – MBS-IV
Requirements:
  • Experience: Outstanding academic record; fresh graduates may apply (hiring based on academic merit).
  • Education: Minimum 16 years; preference for top-tier university graduates.
  • Sector Experience: Public, private, development sectors, or a combination.

Recruitment Process
The recruitment will be conducted in three stages:
Stage 1: Application / CV Review
  • Applications shortlisted based on CV, cover letter, academic credentials, and professional track record.
Stage 2: Written Test
  • Includes GRE-style questions, financial and technical assessments, and case studies.
  • Candidates must pass minimum score criteria to qualify for the next stage.
Stage 3: Interview
  • Conducted by a 3-member panel assessing candidate’s suitability for the role.
